Is impact point the same at different magnifications?

Postby TCPOOL on Mon Oct 14, 2013 9:50 pm

Hi,

I have Nikon Monarch 4X16 X50 scope.
Let's say I sight my rifle to 100 yards at 6X magnification.
If I change magnification to 14X, then will my cross hairs still be dead on at 100 yards....or does changing magnification also change the point of impact?

Thank you!

Point of impact will be the same across the magnification range. Any magnification setting: 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, etc, will have the same point of impact.

TC,

My 6-Power VX-6 POI is the same from 3x power (target acquisition) through 18X (detailed POI)! All Variable Power rifle scopes POIs remains DOA (dead-on-arrurate) and percise throughout their zoom rage!
