Ok, this is the first time for me buying nightvision. My department won't by any and there have been multiple times in the last month that i could have really used it. My only problem is that since i am buying it i don't have alot of money to spend on it and there are so many different ones to get. Any suggestions on a good, low to mid range priced nightvision. I am mainly going to be using it for survalance and tracking if someone is trying to hide from me.
Thanks for the Help

Hi

That will depend on your budget. In night vision, performance and price progresses in steps by the generation (1, 2, 3) of the product. The only exception to this and one I recommend for your consideration is one of the new breeds of digital nightvision, such as the Bushnell Stealthview, http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-night-vision-5x42-stealth-view-260542.html or Yukon Ranger, http://www.opticsplanet.net/yukon-digital-night-vision-ranger-28041.html These give you generation 2 type performance at generation 1 prices.

Otherwise, try a solifd Gne 1 monocular, such as the ATN Night Leopard, http://www.opticsplanet.net/atnamtnigleo.html
