Please tell me if the Speedster 2 radar gun is good for an amateur like me?
I live in a neighborhood where people speed big-time.

Yes, the Bushnell Radar Gun can certainly be used for neighborhood watch monitoring, though the results you get will not stand up in a court as evidence. Use the results to inform the local authorities that you are having a problem.
