Canon A60 power shot

Hi- I just purchased a Canon A60 dig camera. My question is: do I really need an ac adapter to download pics from my camera to my dell computer? Also, I'd like to buy a new printer. I'd like one that will print out photos as well as letters, labels, basic home office work. Can you give me some info? As I said, I have a Dell computer and would like a printer
that is compatible with both computer and camera. Thank you very much

Thank you for your interest in www.OpticsPlanet.com. The only purpose of an AC Adapter is for powering your camera without batteries. For sending pictures from the camera to computer, you'll only need the USB Cable that came with the camera. You camera should be compatible with just about any computer.

Your computer should be compatible with just about any printer as well. Unfortunately we no longer carry any printers, but there are many choices that work well for printing pictures. Canon even makes a few printers that use direct print, where you can attach your camera directly into the printer and not have to send pictures through your computer.
