Is there an advantage at having both the external electric illumination from above the sample in addition to the mirror (Meade 8200) as opposed to just the mirror (Meade 9260 model). We need something VERY easy to use for a child, but our experience has been that mirrors are a bit difficult to use. your advice is appreicated.
The illumination listed on the Meade is all but useless. For a model with actual working built-in illumination, you will need to step up to the Celestron 4050. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
