Help! I replaced the battery, the window on the right displays the number of pictures used on the film, but the automatic strope flash does not open by itself, and the dial on the top left which show which mode you are in, i.e. auto, portrait, etc. does not light up. Is there trouble shooting that I can do to find out the problem? Also, the strobe flash will not fire. the shutter will not release. I can not take any pictures! Thanks Embarassed

Hi

That sounds bad. I suggest you call a tech at Pentax at 1-800-729-0107 for assistance. If you have just received the product, contact the store where you bought it and ask for assistance.

I also have the same problem with my ZX-7. Were you able to fix it?
