Hello,
I would put myself into the hobbyist category but I"m also a science teacher and hobbyist photographer. I'd like advice on a compound microscope with good quality optics and at least 1000x magnification (interchangeable eyepieces would be helpful for that) and I'd like to get into photomicrography/microscopy. I already own a nice digital SLR that I'd like to use to take pics of what I see. Advice, quickly before I make a decision as what someone can get me as a holiday gift would be nice. Thanks!

Hi

Try a LOMO TMH4-BFF for a quality, camera adaptable model.
