Hi

Any model which offers nearest target priority mode can be used for golf, but a waterproof model with nearest target priority and distant target priority (brush, zip) is best for hunting.

The Bushnell Elite 1500 Laser Rangefinder is a good choice in a model which can be used for both applications.
