Some tough questions I hope you can shed some "light" on:
What is the expected lifetime of the LED (not the batteries -- the actual light source)? Will it suddenly go out like a bulb or become gradually dimmer over time?
Some sources say the maximum brightness is 80 lumens, others say 100. Which is it?
Thanks. |

Hi
No one gives an actual lifespan on LEDs, other tha n to say thousands of hours or unlimited. An LED usually gives out in increments slolwy over time.
Can't give you a maximum brightness. For that, you may wish to check with Surefire at 1-800-828-8809 _________________ ----------------------

| Web-searching for "surefire digital u2 ultra 100 lumens" returns about twice as many hits as "surefire digital u2 ultra 80 lumens," so I'd be inclined to go with 100. Not scientific, but good enough for me... |
