Please give me a recommendation. I have never worn sunglasses but just had LASIK and was told to "get good sunglasses ASAP."
I spend a lot of time outdoors both in the summer and winter. Is there an overall sunglass that would be good for:
- Hiking in the mountains in the summer or in the snow.
- I go camping at lease one weekend every month rain, shine, or even snow.
- Speed skating on inline skates. I often hit 25 MPH and go out several times per week. So.. Lots of wind.
- Driving, day to day use, etc.
I am not so sure I like the looks of the sports frames. I am not against them but prefer something more traditional. I have tried the Serengeti 6845s and like the way they fit but I am unsure they would be good for my lifestyle and I worry about the durability. I have not tried much else.
I also am leaning to grey for hiking but amber or red may provide more contrast for seeing objects in the road when I am skating.
What do you recommend for sunglasses and lens color? Is there something that, while not perfect for everything I do, would be a good overall choice? |

Hi
Any of the Serengetis are a good choice. For outdoor work, I like the 555nm, but find it a bit too dark for driving. For that application, I use the Drivers Gradient.
Style is purely subjective and there is no way to predict how any model will fit you. That's something you need to check locally, before you buy online. _________________ ----------------------
