Johnny Depp wears a lot of really cool sunglasses in this movie. Can anyone help me find some similar? I've been looking all around and can't seem to find some just how I'd like them to be.

Here are some pics for you:

Pair 1

Pair 2

Pair 3

I'm mostly interested in Pair 1. Or some that look similar. Hope anyone can help me! Smile[/b]

Hi

It's nearly impossibel to identify sunglasses by a pic alone. If you can at least supply a brand, it would be helpful.

Hi!

Well, that's a bit of a problem, since I've only seen them in the movie. But do you know of any sunglasses that look similar to the ones on the pictures?

Personally I don't like any of these sunglasses, but I know if you search on websites that sell sunglasses you will find a lot of sunglasses that look like those.

Hi,
I might have found something similar to these glasses, of course not the exact same ones but they still look good!
Take a look:

or

Or some of the other "Porsche" sunglasses.
What do you think

the 1st pair are definitely Ray Ban Predators, 3rd pair are some kind of Aviator style (probably ray ban again), and the 2nd pair look like those cheap dark shields old people wear over their normal prescription glasses. (Agent Sands just may be a contact lens wearer Smile )

Actually, I just saw something: If you look at the big picture where he wears pair #2, you can see him wearing pair #3 under them. (must have been a really bright day Cool )

Pair 3 are impossible to find. I have been looking for over a year. They are very similar in lens/frame shape to an Aviator Style from Ray Ban, but if you watch closely in the movie when he removes them, they have 'hook' style legs that wraps around the ears and the lenses are purple/blueish - the similar Ray Bans on the official Ray Ban site have various colors of lenses but none purple or blue and no hook legs.
There is also no Ray Ban logo visible on pair 3 throughout the movie, and considering most other sunglasses in the movie are clearly Ray Bans, I thought pair 3 would also be and that Ray Ban would have been providing all sunglasses for the movie, but ive contacted Ray Ban too and they dont have pair 3 available...I would guess they're a one off.

You're wrong. Johnny Depp needs a prescription, so he his lenses prescribed(no more logo). On the other two pairs shown, they aren't prescribed, but I have to wear a prescription though I don't make all of my sunglasses prescription. Also, he wears vintage glasses, and rayban used to make alot of their frames with the hook around the ears. Just keep looking, or better yet, find something better to do.

I know, but they also find out where you can buy stuff, and probably they could find the other sunglasses too, just post it in their forum or write them a message, they even found out for me which rifle will smith uses in I am Legend;

Hi,
Ray-Ban has one style of aviators that comes with cable temples (or curly temples). This is Ray-Ban RB3030. But unfortunately it is not available with purple lenses... Though Ray Ban Aviator RB3267 comes with blue-violet (models 004-90-6913 & 004-90-6413). But the tint is more gradient, rather than solid.

3rd pair look like Randolph Aviators with customised lens colour. Most famous in Apocalypse Now (Robert Duvall)
