Wanted to know what kind of service will be required and how extensive the cost if the autostar controller is functional however the telescope does not seem to respond to the input. Please email as soon as possible.

That can be any number of problems. It might be as simple as a faulty cord or as complicated as a gearing problem. Either way, you will need to visit with a tech at Meade for help. You can contact Meade at 1-800-626-3233.
