|
|
I've had several pairs of Serengeti glasses in the past, always with the Strata Drivers lens, which I've loved.
Once again, I find myself without sunglasses, and again I'm looking at Serengeti.
I'm considering a few styles that have Polarmax lenses.
My first question is whether the Polarmax lenses include their "Spectral Control". While this is specifically listed on their website as a feature of the Strata lenses (and the non-strata glass Drivers), I don't see it specifically listed for the Polarmax. The description implies that they do have this tech, but I want to be sure.
Also, I really like the look of the CPG lens. But has anyone had experience with this lens vs the Drivers lens in various conditions? Obviously it's not the same color, but is it as nice to (haha) drive with and etc?
Thanks! |

Although the words "Spectral Control" are on that page, that's just part of the menu which follows you all through the "Lens Technology" section of the site, beginning here. http://www.serengeti-eyewear.com/technology/lenses.cfm
The words "Optical Glass" are also there, but we know that the Polarmax lenses aren't glass.
In the description of the Polarmax lenses, unlike the description of the Strata lenses (for example), it doesn't actually say "Spectral Control", it only mentions the polarization and photochromic properties.
I realize I could just find ones I like that have Strata lenses, but I really like some of the styles that only come with Polarmax lenses, and I want to be sure I'm not giving anything up by going from Strata to Polarmax. |

I was still hoping for more info though.
Thanks!
