Are there any reasonably affordable (Gen 1) units, whether monocular, binocular, or goggle systems that are either prefocused (like a disposable camera, for example) or that use some sort of auto focus mechanism? I think that it would become rather cumbersome to constantly have to focus the device, and even more so if it is a goggle unit. Just curious. Thanks.

Hi

Most NV devices require little focusing due to their low magnification. Typically beyond thirty yards or so, you will need little focusing.
