How does the reflective object measurement work -- do I need some sort of special "stop sign" sized sign I put up?

Hi

Reflective and non-reflective refer to the texture and surface of the target in question. This is basically Bushnell's way of saying that the range is better when dealing with targets that have a high reflectivity than targets low in reflectivity. Keep in mind that there are far too many variables involved to take published distance literally.
