Night Vision Device for the Safari

Hi - Can you suggest a product to take on African safari to allow wildlife viewing around the lodge at night? Are all night vision binocs limited to 3x or so? Will image in Gen 3 be superior to image in Gen 1 products? Since total cost of vacation is over $15k, I'm willing to invest in the right product. Also, I assume I can use it at home to keep an eye on backyard creature activity.

Hi

The higher the generation, the greater the image quality and range of the unit, yes. However, nightvision is low resolution technology, so too much magnification is counterproductive and will degrade image quality.
