Bushnell 675by5 need better eyepieces

i was looking for a better chance to view mars and the other planets. I was wondering if the magnifications on my eyepieces needed to be better. Please give me some advice in which to buy. thanks

The magnifications don't need to be better, your eyepiece quality needs to be better. A higher quality eyepiece won't provide a larger image than what your Bushell has now, but it will produce a sharper image with better detail.

On a 5" scope like the Bushnell, 150x to 175x is reasonable for planetary work. More than this will produce poor image quality and consequent loss of image detail.

With a focal length of 900mm, your scope will produce 150x with a 6mm eyepiece. You don't have to spend a fortune for a solid quality eyepiece, but expect to pay at least $40 or $50 or so. Here are some good ones:
