I saw a Nikon Sky & Earth 20x60mm for 139.95 saying buy it. I kind of cruizied epinions.com and got a low ball at 149.99. I coudn't help it I just grabbed the ebay. THE SHIPPING WAS 14.00. Once I accepted, they later sent me a bill for 26.00 shipping. I felt ripped. The scope was in NY a retail called the Cameta and I am in Hawaii. But still I had to call and question the difference in shipping. I'm wondering if I still got a deal and I the scope is really that good, its a straight not an angled with a 20X eyepiece but nothing else except as they claim a 25 year no-fault garantee. Any feed back? How rep is Nikon w/ spotting scopes. Appreciate any advice. Rablerowser |

Dear rablerowser
Based on this and your previous post in the binoculars forum
http://www.opticsplanet.com/msgboard/viewtopic.php?t=96
you worry too much about IMHO small things instead of enjoing your great spotting scope and binoculars.
You did not buy them from us, but you still have great binoculars and a spottting scope, go ahead, use them, enjoy it.
Nikon spotting scopes if they are purchased from an Authorized dealer like OpticsPlanet.com are covered with a 25-year warranty.
as far as shipping, we do not play games, and UPS Ground shipping is always free, but not to Hawaii as there is NO Ground shipping option is available there - sorry, but you pay extra for that paradise that you live in! ;-) The cheapest method to get stuff to you is UPS 2nd Day air
You can see more details on shipping here

Otherwise, enjoy your life, enjoy your fine optics and be happy!
Regards
