What model would you recommend - we only need a basic model with both MPH and KPH facility and we would want to use it from behind the machine with the target 'gong away' from us - what do you suggest?

In my honest opinion, the best option for you would be the Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun / Sports Radar Gun 101911.
