Microscope to look at human hair

i need a microscope for one purpose only. I need it for looking at human hair in full detail. i need to know what magnification i require and the cheepest option with the recomended magnification. want to view the cuticul and cortex.

Hi

You can use either a stereo or a compound, depending on the extent of detail you need, but you will have more magnification options with a compound. For the best results, use a model with a built-in light source and dual focusing, such as the Konus Academy 1000x Biological Microscope - 5325 and 5304.
