I'm trying to decide between a Yukon 4x50 24027 or ATN Night Trek 11301. I'm leaning torwards the Yukon. Is ATN's Gen1"+" marketing hype, or is there really a difference? What is your recomendation for a unit of this type/price range?

Hi

The + on a Gen 1 or 2 means it is a current production intensifier tube and it will more likely be a better tube than one that has been sitting around for years in old inventory. Remember, Gen 1 technology goes back to the '70s.

All Gen 1 tubes are currently made in the same factory in the Ukraine and will be roughly similar in quality. Really can't go wrong with either the ATN or the Yukon. Both are major brands with good backing from the manufacturer.
