I plan to be buying some Oakleys soon, and was wondering about polarization. I have read and searched. I have read that sometimes it impedes the ability to read LCDs. My phone obviously has an LCD, a huge one that I use all the time (It's a Pocket PC) If it's not a problem, then of course I'll go buy the polarized. Considering the price, $30 difference is minimal to me, so I wanted to know what everyone thought. I have read all the benefits but the LCD/ ATM bank machine worry me. If someone can relieve my concerns, I'll go ahead and get the polarized.

Hi

Polarized lenses can produce strange effects when reading LCDs and so on, typically giving you a banded color effect and other distortions. However, a great deal depends on the quality of the lens. I suggest you try before you buy at a local store.
