I want to buy the ATN Trident Pro 4x can you tell me what I can expect from it, ie effective range. Also how durable is it? Waterproof, shock resistant?

You may be able to see a human at up to a couple hundred yards. The unit is waterproof and submersible and is plenty tough to withstand bumps and recoil
