Bushnell Comparison

Hi,

I was looking at the Bushnell Bushnell Night Vision 2.5x42 Binoculars 260400 and the Bushnell Night Vision 5x42 Stealth View Monocular 260542 for general viewing purposes. I was wondering how these two compare? I've seen a review about the 260542 viewfinder being too bright.

Would you recommend one over the other for any reason?

Hi

Bright or not, the Stealthview is definitely superior to any Gen 1 unit in terms of optics and range and that includes any Gen 1 binocular. The only reason to choose a bino such as the 260400 is for the comfort gained by using two eyes.
