Description question
These glasses state LA neutral state light, adjusting lens. What exactly is ment by that statement? Does LA neutral designate they return to a clear lens when indoors and turn dark outside? Also, I can't wear standard glasses as my face is wide, what is the dimensional width of these across the temples? Most glasses are 135-140mm.
Thank You

Davie,
Thank you for your interest in our products. The Wiley X LA lenses will not
change from clear to dark. The light adjusting is a minor adjustment for
bright lights Vs. not so bright lights. It adjusts about as much as your
windshield on your car.
As for the measurements, the Wiley X G-Line sunglasses will be about
132-135mm across the temple. They are pretty large as are most of the Wiley
X sunglasses and goggles.
I hope this helps you out a little. Please do not hesitate to contact us if
you have any further questions. Thank you!
Best Regards,
Steve Vander Tuuk |

| I am confused< I just ordered the LA lens because I thought that they would go to clear from a darken state. Your our web page "Wiley X LA (Light Adjusting) lenses developed by Wiley X and offered by OpticsPlanet.com. Wiley X Light adjusting goggles darken on bright sunny days to shield the eyes from harmful ultra violet rays. On overcast days or at night the lenses adjust to clear for perfect optical clarity. Now you don't have to stop to interchange lenses" So...do they go to clear or not? |
