Hi, I just recently purchased Ray Ban predator 18 sunglasses with polarized lenses.
To clean the lenses, i used some sofTouch lens cleaner which is used for regular prescription glasses. However, only now do I read the Ray Ban pamphlet stating "use water and soap avoiding all types of solvents or alcohol."
Is this a problem? Polarization is a mechanical thing, right? Can't be ruined, right? Logically, I don't think it matters, but please respond to give me some peace of mind. Tell me, have I gone and ruined my sunglasses by using lens cleaner on 2 occasions?
thanks,

Hi
Using a prescribed lens cleaner should not cause damage, but to be safe, use soap and water in the future, as per the manufacturer's instructons. _________________ ----------------------
