I am have aquired two Tasco model 703 scopes. They are 10 power and use 38 mm lenses. The scopes are 14.5 inches in length, with 1" tubes for scope rings.
It is interesting to note, that neither scope has built in windage or elevation adjustment. I purchased both units at a garage sale for "next to nothing".
Does anyone have any historical information about this product?
Thanks!

It sounds like they are worth less than next to nothing.

| I too have a Tasco model 703. My paperwork says it was made in 1975 for the US Army. About the only hope for these scopes is completely adjustable mounts. Beeman's #5039, or the Gamo version. I think these could be used on a bolt action .22, where you can look through the bore and the scope at the same time. Then adjust the mount, till the view matches. If you've found a better solution, please let me know. |
