Red dot or holographic?

I am looking for a good/reliable red dot or holographic sight for my M4 just for shooting. I need something that will go on to a picatanni rail. Does anyone have any suggestions that runs under 80 dollars?
Any suggestions would help since I no nothing about them other than EOtech and Aimpoint.

About the closest unit in your price range to fit your needs would be the ATN Ultra Sight. The dot in this unit is high enough to touch the top of your front sight. Otherwise you may buy just about any inexpensive red dot sight and mount it on top of a riser to achieve the required clearance.
