Yes, I am a Tyler Durden and the only article of clothing I'm missing is this pair of sunglasses danboy. Gosh darn, you won't put them up on ebay for me. It was purposeful irony that made the movie so effective in dressing Pitt in $1000's of dollars of clothing. Keep linking to replicas that might be out there.. The ones on ebay looked horrible quality wise, I'd like to pay something like $60 - $100 for a pair that are Ray-Ban-ish quality.

I dont believe it was purposeful irony. i belive the wardrobe was symbolic. it shows tyler doesnt care what he wheres. SUNGLASSES THAT MOST PEOPLE TELL ME ARE WOMEN'S, RED POLYESTER PANTS, A CHINELLE bathROBE, A RED LEATHER JACKET, BUNNY SLIPPERS. I believe it something to do with tyler being comfortable enough to show female quality apparel. But most of the clothes are just cool for the character. they also clash with jack's wardrobe. I always wanted to imagine that tyler just picked up all those funky theds from thrift shops or lowners. the jacket couldve been something he found on a bus or in the theatre. I'd like to tell you guys that i believe i heard that the oliver peoples were actually pitt's sunglasses. i know i was a freak. but no longer. If you guys go to as www.asos.com there are some really fresh sunglasses for men there. most of them are in the style of durden. they dont look like the oliver peoples but they are in durden style. no as for my peoples, right now i dont intend on selling them because like i said, they hold SENTIMENTAL value. but i will be sure to post it everywhere if i do decide to sell them.

On ebay, under Oliver Peoples, theyre selling the Oliver Peoples pitt wears in fight club. Not the famous OP-523. The OLIVER PEOPLES AERO " AVIATORS" that he wears on the plane when he meets jack.

i think im gonna put my durden shades on ebay. I am gonna put them at buy now for $800.00. Theyre not perfect at all. they have their battle scars, and the legs are a tad crooked, BUT they are the durden op-523s. in a rose colored lens. I know the price is crazy since theyre not mint. but whatever. thats the way its gotta be.

Someone is posing these fake asseenonscreen sunglasses, as the real oliver peoples. dont buy into it. they are already at $60.00 and he payed like $25 for them.

I have some pics on a camera. I'll try and go on the mission of posting them up so you guys can see the real op's. DO NOT PURCHASE ANTHING IF THEY DONT SAY OLIVER PEOPLES OP-523. Get a picture from the movie, and identify small details that the oliver peoples have. That way you'll know the originals from fakes. Dude when i was going crazy trying to get them. i emailed oliver peoples. they put them out the second time, and i nabbed them. The film came out in 99. the shades must have comeout before. i bought them in 2000.
