Will a Tasco BKRD42 Red Dot Scope fit my Marlin .22? Also what is the main difference between that scope and the more expensive Tasco Propoints in the $100 range?

yes that tasco will fit your marlin .22 as long as it has a rail mounting system. I beleive the main difference is the size of the scopes and a slight performance increase.
