Hi,

I have a Nikon D80 and Celestron Ultima 80ED. I would like to digiscope with them both. Is there a way I can do this? What kind T-Ring and T-adapter would I need, or is there something else that may work? Thanks!

Hi

It's pretty easy on an Ultima.

All you need to attach an SLR to the Ultima is a t-ring for a Nikon, such as the Celestron 93402. The t-ring threads to the back of the Ultima eyepiece.

To attach the t-ring, peel off the rubber eyeguard on the Ultima eyepiece until the threads are exposed. Do not remove the eyeguard by unthreading it from the eyepiece. The correct threads are directly under the rubber section and you must peel off the rubber to expose them. When the correct threads are exposed, thread on the t-ting, then attach the camera body.
