Hello, I'm looking to put a scope on my Mossberg 695 slug gun. I like the Burris compact 3-9X. Any opinions on this scope for use on the Mossberg shotgun or any other recomendations would be appreciated.

Burris is a very tough scope and would do well on your shotgun.

I can tell you that I have owned my 695 for 3 years now and love the durability/accuracy of it. I wanted a scope that would do everything I would expect of it and be just as durable. I found that in a Swift 3X9. It has all the same warranties as the high priced scopes and the clarity is an 8 out of 10. Point being that if it proves not as durable as the 695, I am not out big bucks, but I haven’t been able beat it, and trust me I put it through it paces. Best of luck!
