Well I have to tell you guys great job. i was ready to buy a $450 Meade Spotting scope from your site but I asked a question about it 10 days ago and still havn't got an anwser. I am taking my buisness elsewhere. Thanks alot Opticsplanet Evil or Very Mad

This is a user's forum that OpticsPlanet apparently maintains, but if you have a question you want an answer to, you should email them or call them directly, not wait for an answer here. They have always responded quickly and thoroughly to my emails/calls.

For all we know, answers appearing in this forum from OpticsPlanet employees are being done on their own time when it's convenient for them.

Well, I don't work for OpticsPlanet and I don't particulalry care whether you buy something from them or not. I have gotten great customer service from them.

I personally am not in a position to help you because I do not have experience with the scope you asked about.

I was giving you some advice as to how you could get a satisfactory answer to your question given that you are impatient and have unrealistic expectations from an on-line forum.

I don't care whether you take my advice. Heck, I don't even care whether you buy a telescope or not.

This is an online forum so that guests of optics planet can come here and ask question's. I think it is the responsibality of optic's planet to anwser these question's. Is it just a cowincedence that a total of 9 different post's that was asked before me never got anwsered, but the exact same day I write a complaint these people's question's got anwsered. And the person who anwsered these question's goes under the name "Guest" but if you look at the way they anwser the question's it is obsessively Optic's Planet. Ohh and one last thing BobY, you said I have been impatient and have unrealistic expectations from a forum. Let me tell you something, i happen to belong to multiple forum's and 99.9% of the time when a question is asked you will get a response within 1 to 2 days. So waiting 10 days for a reply back is far from what I would call impatient. Normally I can't be bothered with trolls, but I thought you might be interested in:

There you will learn that the Guest, who appears to be an OpticsPlanet representative that usually answers questions on the forum, was away for medical reasons.

It looks to me like your question was answered the same day the other pending questions were answered. Interesting that none of the others who asked questions felt obliged to complain about the response. That ought to help you gauge your level of patience...

Hi

The Guest was me, Joanie (Jne), the adminstrator and person who responds to the questions. For some reason, the computer has been signing me in as a guest, so sorry about the confusion.

The biggest reason some quesations have gone unanswered for so long, though, is that I was at home recovering from a surgery. I truly apologize for any questions that did not get answered in my abesence. We are currently training an assistant, so hoepfully, it won't happen again.

Thank-you, as always, to our usual regulars who took up the slack while I was getting better.
