Etx-90 spotting scopes are great for rifle shooting. Just take off the tripod and use a drill and tap some holes in the spotting scope. For targets of 100 to 150 yards I would reccomend using the 129x eyepiece. It will also give you a 598 ft FOV at 1000yds with the 129x eyepiece.

i'm just going to buy a tasco. I don't think that spotting scope will work.
