Night vision for coyote hunting

I've got a coyote problem out on my ranch and want to buy a night vision scope with good magnification to solve my problem. Looking for good magnification, long range, and if possible, something that can be used day or night. Maybe gen 3 or gen 4? Going on a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 flat top with full length rail.

Hi,

I would recommend taking a look at the ATN PS22. This Gen 3 Night vision unit will mount directly to the flat top rail of your rifle, and works in conjunction with existing rifle scopes. This will allow you to use the riflescope of your choice for daytime shooting and just add the PS22 for night shooting. This is a very versatile unit that will work very well for your situation.

Wow! Anything a little less $$$? I love the idea, though.

I don't have a scope yet. Can you recommend one that will work well with this or something like it?

Hi,

If you like the idea and want something a little less costly, ATN also makes a GEN 2 PS22 for quite a bit less. There are still several grades of gen 2 to get that optimum balance between cost and performance.

For a riflescope, I recommend the Leupold Mark 4 3.5-10x40 LR/T. This high end tactical riflescope has great optics, is very durable, and will work very well with the ATN PS22.
