How much better is the Stealthview over other Gen 1s?

Is the difference that noticable?

I was originally considering the Yukon 4x50 for my husband but would be willing to pay a little more, if the stealthview is considerably better.

I see that it can be mounted on a tripod, is there an accessory that would mount it to a rifle?

Yes, the difference is that noticeable. I would choose the stealthview over any gen one unit of any manufacturer. There isn't a weapons mount available.
