Looking for a solid Gen 1 / Gen 1+ nightvision scope for playing paintball. It should mount on a Weaver mount, and be able to focus on the image from 4-5 inches away from the eyepiece. Magnification is not an issue.

Any recommendations?

The best scope in terms of weight clarity and focus range will be the ATN Aries MK330 Warrior Night Vision Rifle Scope located here, http://www.opticsplanet.net/atnarmkwarni.html. This scope will focus one meter form an object. There is really not much better out there and that we carry. These are available and ready to ship. I hope this helps you out. I think what he meant was from the eye to the eye piece, not from the objective lens to the target, which I know as eye relief (but that could be the wrong terminology). I am looking at getting something for paintball as well.
We need something that our eye can be 4 or 5 inches away from but still see clearly through the scope and able to take a hit with water based paint. Something waterproof but cheap. Yeah right.
