Six children ranging from 8 to 19. Older children studying parasites in humans & animals, Mid age household allergens(dust mites, etc). With 6 children can't spend a fortune, some suggestions which microscope will meet these needs.
To get a microscope comparable to what is used in a junior high or high school classroom, look for a model with both coarse and fine focus and built-in illumination. A minimum here would be a Konus Academy,
or the Celestron 44104. If you need to save money, you can drop down to a mirror model, such as the Celestron 44102, but a built-in light source is well worth the extra money.
