Hello,
I was trying to find but might be off in my search.
I'm looking for a telescope with the following features:
1. Self computerised guiding (type in the coordinates and it will find it automaticaly)
2. The telescope can connect to a PC in order to look at the sky and also capture the image.
Is there anything like this in the market at all?
Links will be appretiated. |

Hi
I) Any model advertised as a GOTO computerized telescope will do this. Tou can see all our telescopes on our website.
2) Although some users get real time images by mounting HD surveillance cameras over the eyepiece, these typically cost far more than that telescope. Some users are now using small handucams to do the same thing, though not with the same quality results. Lastly, you can use electronic eyepieces, such as the Meade 902, but images are a far from the quality what you will visually see in any eyepiece.
You can download images and do astrophotography - but images will not be real time and this is not something you should attempt until you have some experience with a telescope and astronomy. This involves an SLR camera or a CCD imager.
For the basics on astrophotography, see my short article,
