i have the ds-2080 telescope and i also have the 902 camera eye piece...would it mess anything up if i point it at the sun and if i do will i see any details??...i know not to look in the scope directly...thank you
Not recommended. Without a solar filter on the fornt of the scoppe, you risk damaging the optical elements in the scope. Moreover, if you are trying to see solar detail, you won't see anything without a filter, anyway. You need a filter, not only to reduce the light, but to filter out the correct wavelngths. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
