Is this a good beginners telescope for occasional star gazing?
Do you have an alternative choice in this price range, please??

Hi

Yes, that will certainly get you started, though you will find the Bushnell computer a bit on the outdated and crude side, compared to a Celestron Nexstar 80SLT or Meade DS2080
