Good Telescope for Land Viewing

I would like to get a powerful telescope for mostly land viewing preferably with a gear or motorized mount. Thank you. Please reply to qalaqund@yahoo.com

Hi

If you want a scoe exclusively for day work, you need a spotting scope, not a telescope. See my article, What is a Spotting Scope

If you want a telescope for both astronomy and day work with a computer or motor, go with a refractor, a Mak or SCT on a fork or arm mount. You can always turn the computer off and move these manually All of these give upright, but reversed right to left, images. They can be further corrected by adding an erecting prism. A good choice would be the Meade ETX 125
