If anyone has any answers here I would really appreciate it.
I just bought a Celestron CG-5 GT mount with the Nextar hand held computer. The Go To feature is not accurate at all, even under near perfect alignment. What is going on here? This is my first time with Go To technology being an 'Old School' amateur astronomer for 30 years.

Hi Vince
Sorry you are having problems. As long as you have inputted the correct time, date and location and polar aligned correctly, you should get the scope to find something for you. Be sure to use the low power eyepiece first - the wider field of view is more likely to find objects initially. You can always fine tune with higher magnification eyepieces once the object has been captured by the computer. Also, the guide stars you select must be visible from your location. _________________ ----------------------
