Hi,
I need a spotting scope for watching distant shore birds, distant widllife viewing and nature viewing.
Can i expect a reasonably good spotting scope from u, with fine optics, wich wud let me see details clearly at 300 yards distance, in a budget of $250.
If it is not possible with this budget, please let me know at what least price, can i get such good spottings scopes wich wud let me see things at 300 yards clearly..
Thank U.. |

Hi
It's not a matter of detail, it's a matter of how much and what size detail you want to see. If you are trying to see and identify small shorebirds at 300 yards, you will need a premium grade and more expensive spotting scope. If you are trying to identify larger birds, such as waterfowl or trying to watch deer, a scope in the $250 range will do just fine. Just a matter of what you are trying to accomplish.
Be hard to beat a Bushnell Legend 20-60x80 or a n Eagle Optics Raven in this price range. To get significantly better scopes, you are going to have to spend closer to $500 or more. _________________ Thanks for posting with us

Hi Joanie K:
How do you compare the Weaver 15-40x60 Spotting Scope vs the Bushnell Legend and the Eagle Optics Raven?
Thanks in advance!!
