sir/mam would Barska Electro Sight Multi Reticle Red Dot Sight fit on my M4 rail & will it be high enough to clear the M4 front sight ?

Hi

Barska Electro Sight Multi Reticle Red Dot Sight AC10632 will mount, but if you plan to mount it to a flat top (picatinny rail) without the carry handle attached, you will need a riser to put the sight high enough to clear the iron sights and also to put it in a position to comfortably see when your face is on the stock. Try the B-Square, 15100 (we don't currently offer this one), but try B-Square at 1-800-433-2909.

I'm planning to use the same sight for IPSC. It will be mounted on my single stack 1911A1 .45. My weapon is compensated and I'm using reloaded ammo. So it's relativly low recoil.

My questions are these: Will this sight problably withstand the recoil of my weapon? Will it endure the (mis)use during IPSC-stages? What kind of a mount should I use?

You will destroy this sight in short order. It is not made for IPSC or any hard use.
