I cannot believe that someone is auctioning off the op's for BUY NOW 7,000. Thats rediculous. I predict that eventually you'll begin to see young celebrities wearing the op's on the street, stripping them of their cult status. I think im going to give mines to a homeless man so maybe some fight clubber will drive by and see the homeless guy begging for change wearing the durdens. Brad Pitt has definately reached legendary status.

remember seeing them on asos.com years back for £20, didnt get them then when i went back a week later they were gone forever

so i just paid £80 for one of those said replicas, theres inflation for ya...

Soon I will be putting my OP-523's for sale on EBAY. I will have the BUY now for $1,200.00/US. If anyone on this site is interested in them, I will give them to you for $1,000.00. I have pictures of them on I believe the 4th or 3rd page of the FIGHT CLUB GLASSES BLOG. Let me remind you, theyre not in mint condition. The lenses have some small light scrathes, and the frame are a bit scuffed. They are also not in the GOTHIC ROSE colored lenses that are in the film. They are in CORAL. I breaks my heart to get rid of them, and as I am writing this right now i am still in doubt, but i really need the money. I also feel like I have had my time with the OP's, and now it's time for another to enjoy these very rare soon to be collectable piece of POP-CULTURE. If anybody knows where to get anymore replicas of the OP-523's, please let me kno. I would rather pay for a near perfect replica then have to sell ad space on my body in order to pay for the actual ones.

I once purchased the asos.com immitations of the Op523.

Theyre a joke. They dont even come close to near perfect. They come in a shine silver coating that im sure will wear off in time. Theyre extremely heavy and odd shaped. The orange lenses dont help either. Trust me guys. There are PRADA glasses that sell for about 200, that look more like the Durdens then those wack asos shades. I almost lost it when i saw someone pay 100 bucks for those asos's, which retailed for $23 dollars. Dont waist you money. Let me know if you guys want to know better tyler shade immitations. I show you some cool ones. And like i said, The durdens are very rare. Everyone I know is selling them for 1000. Oh and also, The op523 frame has two screws around the nose piece, that when unscrewed, you can replace the lenses with any color you want.

Oh and by the way, if anybody is looking for the 'Aero' model( the one durden wears on the plane), there are plenty of them on ebay, just buy a silver framed pair and go to an oliver peoples store n get emerald pink lenses
