Very new to this but hoping it will turn into a long term hobby.
I have a Meade 4.5 newtonian reflector telescope. Question is when I'm using the bubble level I got with my telescope after I center the bubble and point it north is it alright to loosen up the collar around the telescope and turn the eyepiece to about a 45 degree angle for easier viewing or am I knocking the telescope out of alignment?
The position of the tube in the rings will have no effect on the alignment, unless you are using a model equipped with an LNT module. _________________ Thanks for posting with us
