Would you recomend a beginner to start out with the LPI and move up to the Deep Sky Imager II later? Does the meade LPI have the same Autostar Suite software as the Deep Sky imager?

Will the Ultra-wedge fit the LX90GPS 10 inch or does it need adapters. I don't see any less expensive wedge for this telescope.

Thanks

Hi

Your choice between the LPI and DSI is a matter of your target. If you want to do any deep-sky astrophotography, the DSI is your only practical option. The LPI does not have the snesitivity for those objects.

Sorry, mo other option on the 10" LX90 for a wedge at this time.
