I recently purchased a 45 degree erect image diagonal for my telescope. My telescope is a Celestron PowerSeeker 114mm Newtonian reflector. Focal length is 900mm. Focal ratio is 8. Mount is German equatorial. I use a K20mm eyepiece. I am able to focus on an image like a fire hydrant when I use only the 20mm eyepiece. However, when I add the diagonal to the eyepiece I cannot focus on the image...everything is blurry. The diagonal is a Celestron. Can you give me some advice about this. Did I purchase the wrong diagonal or do I need to be doing something different. Thanks!
Reflectors cannot use a standard image erecting prism. You must use one specifically made for a reflector. The only such erecting prism we carry is the Zhumell _________________ Thanks for posting with us
