I have a pair of ray bans and managed to drop them and have caused a chip in the lens. Although the chip isn`t large enough to effect the lens or obstruct my view, it is somewhat annoying as I only bought them about 6 months ago. I was just wondering if anyone one knows if I can get the chip fixed without replacing the lens. Seen some products on the net but not sure if they actually work.

Thanks

I have never heard about it. If you find the way to fix the crack, please share your experience.

If you bought these Ray Ban sunglasses 6 months ago and these are authentic Ray-Ban sunglasses, they should be still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I would recommend you to contact Luxottica Group (manufacturer of RayBans) and see if they can repair the sunglasses under warranty. You can also check nearest Sunglass Hut or LensCrafters. Luxottica owns these stores - probably they will be able to help you.

If you decide to get a new pair of RayBan sunglasses, please let us know - we will get you a good deal! We at OpticsPlanet, carry full collection of Ray Ban eyewear.

Good luck!
